Lakeside Pre-School is now Kidsfirst Early Childhood Centre
After supporting families for over 20 years, Mrs. Kilsby has retired, and so this well-established school is now under new ownership. The new owner, Mrs. Sue, has owned and operated licensed child care spaces in Maple Ridge since the late 80’s and is excited to meet all the families within this community.
Our school is located in Whonnock Lake Centre, within the boundaries of Whonnock Lake Park in east Maple Ridge — just 5 minutes from Mission, and 15 minutes from downtown Maple Ridge.
The building is nestled among the trees with large windows that overlook the play yard. Moss-covered boulders, huge tree stumps, and tall Douglas fir trees make a unique and adventurous outdoor space for the children to explore.
